Greetings and free talk

Step2 Presentation Show students two bears . T: Today we have two new friends, Do you know

who they are? One is big bear, the other is little bear. And these two bears are in the cartoon，Boonie Bears. Do you like them? How much do you know about them ? Do you know where they live ?( They live in the forest.) Step3 Teaching of new lesson 1.

Show students some pictures about the other animals. Ask and answer where the other animals live. 2.

Practise in pairs by using where do they live. Then ask someone to act it out.

Ask and answer : Where do you live? (I/We live in ….)

4.

Play a game. Give students a piece of paper. Ask ss to write the name of a city or a country that you like on the paper, and write their names on the other side of the paper. Have the ss choose one, then ask and answer in their groups: Where do you live, …? I live in …. Have the student who has the same answer stand up ,answer together :Where do you live? We live in ….

5.

Show the pictures of some famous peole. Ask and answer: Where does she or he live? (She/He lives in ….)

6.

Practise in groups of four according the cities or countries on the paper in their hands by using Where does she/he live?.

7.

More practise: Introduce yourself or a kind of animal that you like. Maybe you can introduce yourself as an animal,and you can do some actions. Don’t forget live in.

Step 4 Summary

These animals all live on the earth, and we all live on the earth, too. The earth

is our homeland, and we have only one earth. So we should protect our earth from now on, from ourselves. Step5 Homework
