This is the 1st period of Unit 12 in Oxford Book 5A. It's about the fire safety.

The most important grammatical point in this unit is the usage of the words "must /mustn't", and there are many useful expressions in this dialogue, so I need to arrange the learning procedures properly. I use much time for the students to practise the new sentence patterns. In the past, the students learned the word of “fireman (firemen)” and the sentence “Firemen use water to put out fires”, so I use the video of the chant about “fireman (firemen)” to lead in.

学情分析：

The students have already known something about fire, so most of them have the ability to talk about the usage and danger of fire. But the new sentence patterns are very important, so the students need to do more exercise to strengthen the knowledge. The students in my class are not so active, so I prepare some interesting activities to inspire them, such as, role play, guessing game and so on.

The aims of emotion: 1) To know that fire is useful in our life. 2) To know about "fire safety".
