本课是一节听说课，围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，开展多种多样的以听、说、读为主，兼顾写的学习活动。本课主要通过听、说、读、写活动来完成下列学习任务：1. 复习学科的表达。2. 学习星期一到星期天的表达方式。3.复习“谈论偏爱”和“询问喜欢的学科并给出理由”的语言结构。4. 学习“谈论他人的偏爱”和“询问他人喜欢的学科并给出理由”的语言结构。5. 学习用because和描述性形容词阐述理由。6. 复习what，why，who，when引导的特殊疑问句，通过复习when引导的特殊疑问句来学习星期一至星期天前面介词on 的用法，并渗透西方文化的介绍，即星期天是一周的起点，星期六是一周的结束。7. 通过谈论一周的课程安排，让学生学会合理的安排自己的作息时间, 以培养学生良好的学习和生活习惯。

学情分析

这些农村孩子从小学升入中学还不到一学期，他们怀着好奇、兴奋和期待的心情进入初中学习。他们朴实、聪明、活泼、可爱，积极向上，学习热情高，因此，应抓住这一大好时机，做好他们的思想工作，激发他们的学习动机，培养他们的学习兴趣和自信心，使他们积极主动地参与学习。本课在进行教学时，将在课堂活动中把学生分成四个小组，在组内合作、互助；在组间竞赛，在竞赛中不断强化巩固。本单元立足于任务，以不同的方式向学生传授目标语言，让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作，在活动中相互探讨、相互交流，从而获得知识、技能、情感体验，发展他们在学习和生活中团结协作，互帮互助的能力；创建开放式、探究式的课堂，有意识的渗透学习策略的指导, 如：听听力时注意获取关键词等；让学生通过表演对话、调查、报道等实现交际策略。
