Practice: Activity 1:

Show students some pictures about animals and let students describe them one by one

Activity 2:

Guessing game. Student one picks one word card and describe the animal, the others guess what is it?(Divide the students into two groups: girls group and boys group and find who are winners?)

Activity 3: Hand out drawings to students one by one, use the sentences pattern “It is... ”and “It has...” to describe the animals then show us.

本节课的目标是要让学生学会使用句型“It’s...”和“It has...”去描述动物的外形特征以及身体部位，总的来说本节课是一堂复习课，句型在A和B部分中已经学习，需要在课堂中反复练习，让学生更加熟悉。本节课的成功之处是通过设计了描述教师所出教示的单词卡片、游戏“你来描述我来猜”以及根据所给图片完成学句子三个环节的活动练习，让学生充分掌握了句型的使用。但是，反本节课也有一些不足之处：对于句型“It has...”的使用，学生容思

易出现“a”和“-s”混用的情况，由于三年级学生接触英语的时间还相对较短，语法知识不强，对于这部分的讲解应该再细致一些，练习应该更充分一些。
