A Lucky Day

一、教学目标

1. 知识目标：

（1）能听说读写短语：won the game, had some cotton candy, had fun with friends, got a gift, woke up late, missed the bus, forgot my homework, lost my keys. hurt my knee （2）能掌握句型：

What happened?

First, I had fun with friends. Next, I won the game. After that, I got a nice gift. Wow! You’re really lucky!

2. 能力目标：

(1) 能够运用本课时所学的词组描述自己或朋友的一些活动：如：won the game, had some cotton candy, had fun with friends, got a gift, woke up late, missed the bus, forgot my homework, lost my keys, hurt my knee, failed the test (2)

能够运用What happened?句型询问别人发生的情况。

(3) 能够运用first, next, and then, after that 描述自己开心一天的活动的先后次序。

(4) 能跟据图片提示，补全短文：

3.情感态度目标： （1）学生能够提高合作意识和自主探究、归纳的能力。

(2) 培养学生积极的态度面对生活的每一天，学会与朋友分享心情。

二、教学重点，难点。

1.教学重点：

（1）能够运用短语won the game, had some cotton candy, had fun with friends, got a gift, woke up late, missed the bus, forgot my homework, lost my keys. hurt my knee描述自己一天的活动，并能写成一篇小短文。

（2）能够运用What happened?句型询问别人发生的情况。

2. 教学难点： （1）能够运用first, next, and then, after that,描述自己开心一天的活动的先后次序。

（2）理解并运用动词不规则变化的过去式：win-won, eat-ate, have-had, get-got，wake -woke, miss-missed, forget-forgot, lose-lost 三、教学准备

Step 1 Warm- up 1. Free talk.

T: Hello, boys and girls! Good afternoon! Are you happy today?

2. T: You are happy today. Now, Let’s read the words quickly and loudly.（播放单词）

通过复习已经学习的动词词组和第二单元改编一点的chant来调节学生的情绪，活跃课堂气氛，营造轻松的学习氛围，同时通过复习已学过的动

词短语为本单元新短语的学习做好铺垫，通过chant引入本节课的对话。】

Presentation

1.T: You chanted well. You are very good. Are you happy?

T: You have a good day. （Show some pictures about Jenny’s Day. ）

T: Did Jenny have a good day?

T: Yes, she had a good day. She had a lucky day.（出示PPT）

T: What happened? (教学happened) 2.

The students read Jenny’s day and answer some questions. Teach the phrases.

T: Q1: What happened first? ( 出示PPT)

S1: First, she had fun with friends.

T: Yes, she had fun with friends. ( 播放短语录音，跟读

)

T: What did she have? (出示PPT) She had some cotton candy.

S2: She had /ate some cotton candy. （先让学生尝试回答，再教学单词cotton，播放短语录音，跟读。）

T: Do you like candy? Do you like eating cotton candy?

T: Q2: What happened next? ( PPT显示图片以及句子) 教学won ,先出示one，再展示won，出示原形win，让学生尝试回答，播放短语录音，跟读。再集体回答。

S3: Next, she won the game. Ss: Next, she won the game. T: Q3: What happened after that? ( PPT显示图片以及句子) Ss: After that, she got a nice gift.

( 让学生播放短语录音，跟读。)

学习新词get-got 3. PPT图片展示Jenny’s lucky day引导学生用first, next, after that表达的顺序，复述Jenny一天所做的事情。T：Wow! She is really lucky/great!

4. 展示Target视频，让学生模仿，再进行pair work练习，最后让几组同学表演。

【设计意图：通过Jenny’s lucky day导入新课学习，把本节课要学习的动词短语贯穿在语篇中，四个动词短语大部分我们前面已学过，只有三个单词在本课新学，所以在学习中先让学生通过回答问题讲述Jenny那天做过的事情来掌握短语的意思，理解first, next, after that所表达的次序，再让学生完整地复述一次，最后根据录音模仿表演，检查学生对短语的掌握情况。】

5. 出示图片，让学生两人练习对话，再表演，然后读对话。

6. 根据课本的chant，让学生补全对话，并看视频Let’s chant and dance. 【设计意图：通过两人、小组练习，加强对本课所学的短语掌握和运用。通过说唱让学生在唱、做中进行律动，活跃气氛，营造轻松的氛围，同时复习巩固短语与文段，为下面的小编埋下伏笔。】
