一、教学目标

1、知识目标:

(1)掌握单词:happy, birthday, here’s, present, this, pencil, pen, cake

(2)能运用Happy birthday!祝福他人生日快乐,并能用Thank you.对别人的祝福表示感谢。

(3)能使用Here’s your……这个句型。

2、技能目标:

能运用所学知识向他人表达生日祝福并赠送礼物。

3、情感目标:

(1)通过向他人表达生日祝福,以培养和增进友谊。

(2)锻炼学生能大胆开口说英语,乐于用英语进行口头表达,善于表达谢意。二、教学重点

1、单词的听说认读:happy、 birthday 、here、 cake、pen、pencil

2、“Happy birthday!”“Thank you.”“Here’s your…….”的口头运用。三、教学难点

1、“Here’s your ……”句型的运用。

2、单词present的读音。

四、教具准备

课件,单词卡,礼物,铅笔,钢笔,生日帽以及奖励。

五、教学过程

Step1: Warm up and lead in

1.Greetings.

2.Listen a song “Happy birthday to you”.

T:Let’s listen a song. If you can sing,please sing together.

3.T:Do you know the Chinese name of this song ?

Ss:“祝你生日快乐”。

T:Right.Today we’ll learn“Module 6 Unit 1 Happy birthday!”.(Write

the topic on the blackboard )

Step2:Presentation

1.Show the cards, and teach the words: happy、birthday、happy birthday.

2.T: Are you happy today?

Ss: Yes.

T:Look! They are happy, too. (show the PPT)

Introduce the three boys: Jim, Tim, Kim

T: Why are they happy? Let’s watch!(play animation)

T:Why are they happy? Because today is their birthday.Their birthday is on the same day.They are triplet.

Let’s say “happy birthday”to them.

3.T:Boys and girls,today is also Li Hao and Zhang Meng’s birthday in our class.Let’s say “happy birthday”to them.

4.T:Today is their birthday. We should send presents to them. Look,here are two presents.(show presents and teach“present”)

5.T:Let’s send the presents to them. We can say“Here’s your present”.(Write on the blackboard and teach )

T and Ss:Happy birthday,Li Hao.Here’s your present.

Li Hao:Thank you.

(send the other present to Zhang Meng)

6.T:Look at this present.What’s in it? Do you want to know?

Ss:Yes!

T:If you want to know,you can ask“What’s this?”

Ss:What’s this?(Li Hao opens the present and shows a pen)

T: It’s a pen.(teach “pen”“pencil”)

7.Guessing game:What’s this?

8.T:Boys and girls,look,what’s this? Guess!(draw a cake and teach)

9.T:Let’s send the cake to them.Here’s your cake,xxx.....
