教学目标：

1、知识目标：

（1）四会词语： rat, snake, tasty, lake, silly, away；

（2）四会句型：基础句型What can you do? I can... Can you...? Yes, I can. / No, I can't. 拓展句型I can ... for you. There's a... Don't... 2、能力目标：

（1）能够理解并朗读故事；

（2）能在教师的帮助下表演故事。

3、情感与态度：

(1)通过有趣的语言情景，激发学生的学习兴趣。

(2)通过小组合作共同完成任务，形成和谐的学习氛围。

(3)通过阅读，学会遇到危险保持冷静,动脑筋想办法。

教学重难点：

使学生在相对真实、完整的语境中接触、体验、理解语言；

能够在图片和情景的帮助下，引导学生去讲故事。

教学准备：

多媒体课件，PPT, flash动画。

教学过程：

Step Ⅰ Warm-up

1. Free talk.（略）

2、教师播放跟前“What can you do?”的录音，全班学生跟着录音大声唱歌曲，激发学生的学习热情。

What can you do? What can you do? I can sing English songs. Can you sing songs, too? I can do kung fu. I can do kung fu. I can dance and draw cartoons. Can you draw cartoons, too? Step Ⅱ Preview 1、游戏：猜谜语，介绍故事主人公老鼠和蛇。

2、介绍故事(Introduce the story) T: Now, let’s see who comes here.（呈现Snake的图片）Suddenly, a snake comes, then the animals are frightened. They run away. But the snake caught the rat. Will, this is today’s story.

Step Ⅲ While-reading task 1、出示田鼠和蛇的图片，请学生说说两种动物分别会做什么。

2、利用PPT呈现图1，请学生回答：Does the snake want to eat the rat?然后，教师问：Can the snake eat the rat? No, the rat can swim away. 3、学生再读一遍故事，回答下面的问题：

Questions: (1) Who are in the story? (2) What is the tasty food? (3) Can the rat sing? (4) Can the rat dance? (5) Is the snake clever? (6) Can the rat swim? 4、学生听完整录音或欣赏故事动画并跟读，提醒学生在跟读的过程中注意模仿录音中语音、语调。

（1）第一遍听完整录音，指名模仿度跟读；

（2）第二遍欣赏故事动画并全班跟读。

Step Ⅳ Post-reading task

1、同桌学生分角色朗读，教师及时评价指导。

2、学生在小组内练习分角色表演故事，然后教师请两三组学生上讲台表演，提醒学生表演时要带上适当的表情和动作，鼓励其他学生对同学的表演给出评价，教师及时补充。最后教师评选出“最佳表演组“，并给予表扬。

2、可自编小故事或收集阅读其他故事。
