一、教学目标

（一）能够在图片的帮助下读懂电子邮件并完成判断正误的活动。

（二）能够写出三个描述自己能做或者不能做什么的句子。

二、教学重难点

重点:理解短文句意。

难点:怎样用我们学过的句子写英文邮件。

三、教具准备

教学课件、教学光盘和单词卡片。

四、教学过程

（一）Warm up sing a song （二）Revision free talk: What can Zhang Peng do? What can Sarah do? Can you…? Show us, please! Who’s your good friend? What’s he/she like? What can he/she do? （三）Presentation

1.lead-in

“Do you want a new friend?”---show the picture of Robin---“Who’s he? What’s Robin like? Can he speak English? Can he speak Chinese?...Can he send an email?

2.new points

(1)Show the picture that Robin is sending an email, and tell Ss “Robin can send an email.”

(2) learn the phrase:send an email

(3) email address

3.read and write

(1)first reading, answer the questions: What is Robin like? What can Robin do?

(2)second reading, tick or cross.

(3)third reading, find out the new words.

(4)read after the computer
