一、教学内容：六上Unit5 Signs

（story time）

二、教学目标：

1.能够简单地听、说、读单词及词组：sign, smell, at a shopping centre, be careful, mean, floor, around, take…into…, in a restaurant 2.能听懂、会说、会读：What does it mean? It means ……./ No eating or drinking./ No littering./ No smoking./ Wet floor. 3.通过本课时的学习，让学生能够看懂一些常见的公共标识，并能用英语进行询问及描述。

4.通过学习公共标志常识，加强社会公德教育，提高学生自身的文明素养。

三、教学重点：

1.能听懂、会说、会读：What does it mean? It means ……./ No eating or drinking./ No littering./ No smoking./ Wet floor. 2.能初步感知并理解故事，有感情地朗读并表演故事。

四、教学难点：

六、教学过程：

Step1 Warming up

1.

Free talk What date is it today? What day is it today? What did you do last weekend? 【设计意图：日常问候，过渡课堂。】

Step2Presentation and practice 1. I went to Wanda Plaza. It is a big shopping centre.(教学shopping centre)

2.Show some pictures of a shopping centre. What shops can you see in a shopping centre?(教学restaurant) 【设计意图：设置情景，创造交流氛围，引出生词，为下一步学习进行铺垫。】

3.Today our friends are in the shopping centre now.

Watch and answer:

(1)What shops did they go?

(2)What did they talk about?

(Show the first paragraph and ask students to find out the answer.) It means the floor is wet. Wet floor. 【设计意图：通过设置找标志的任务活动，逐幅图片引导学生学习词组及句型。】

6.同桌两人合作，阅读课文第2-4段，找出标识含义，划出关键句。

What does it mean? It means you can’t litter here.

No littering.

It means you can’t eat or drink here.

No eating or drinking.

It means you can’t smoke here.

No smoking. 【设计意图：引导通过自读寻找问题的答案，培养学生的阅读能力。】

7. These signs tell us what we should do and what we should not do. We can give people some advices according to these signs. Can you find out Mike and his friends’ advices?

(出示Paragraph1.3.4) Be careful! (用怎样的语气读一读？) You can’t take your juice into the shop, Helen. （教学take…into..）

4. Act the story. 选择一幅图，四人一组合作表演，要语言正确、流利、生动，能加上动作。

“标识”这一主题之前涉及的比较少，所以本课一开始，教师创设万达购物中心这个情景，让学生直观感知和观察公共标志出现的地点、种类和作用。在课文学习部分，教师采用了由宏观到微观的策略，先让学生通过看动画整体感知Story time的内容，然后针对每段课文，教师设置了不同的任务，让学生带着任务听或读课文并关注课文中的细节信息，培养学生的阅读能力。最后的巩固环节，教师通过判断正误的游戏拓展公共标识的内容，对学生进行了潜移默化的公德教育。
