My hometown 教学设计

Teaching aims:

1. To use new words and expressions correctly: hometown, friendly, raise, grow, smell, drive.

2. To make notes about the hometown before writing.

3. To be able to structure articles reasonably and write about your hometown.

Important points: To learn to use words and expressions to describe your hometown.

Difficult points: To be able to structure articles reasonably and write about your hometown.

Teaching methods:

Listening﹑speaking﹑reading and writing Teaching aids: Multi-material system Teaching procedures Step 1 Lead-in. 1. Show a video of Xuyi to students.

（意图：通过展示我们家乡—盱眙的美景来引入本课所要讨论的话题）

2. Tell students that John, an exchange student made a video of his hometown.

Step 2 Presentation. 1. Present some pictures of John’s hometown and learn the new words and expressions.

Eg. on a farm, row a boat, smell the flowers, hear the birds sing, raise cows, some…and others…

2. Let the students say something about John’s hometown.

3. Read the notes carefully and complete different tasks. Step3. Learn from John’s notes.

本节课的目标是让学生能合理架构文章，描述自己的家乡。首先通过展示盱眙的一些景色来导入本课话题。然后向学生介绍John并呈现他家乡的一些图片，带领学生学习词汇和句型。在此基础之上，让学生试着去描述John的家乡。在学生对他家乡有一定了解的基础上，来学习John的笔记，加深对其家乡的了解。有了这些铺垫，接下来的课文听力填空就容易多了，学生基本都能够完成。接着老师带领学生细致地、逐段地阅读文章并总结段落大意及文章结构，让学生对文章结构有更清晰地理解和把握。之后，再让学生讨论自己的家乡。同时，老师呈现一些useful expressions，为学生的书面表达作铺垫。最后学生对同学文章的点评也让他们对文章的一些注意事项和结构有了更准确地把握。
