(part 1) Revise the new words and structures learnt in the last period. (show some pictures of different clothes) S: They are clothes.

Ask some students to say the names of different clothes. (divide them into 3groups to do a competition and only the first student

Let some students ask and answer about their prices. 2. Grammar Focus (语法学习) (1)ask students to translate some sentences 这本书多少钱？

They are expected to find the difference between how much is…? and how much are…?

Ask one student to tell us the difference he/she has found. (2) show the picture of the usage of 2 sentence structures and summrise the languae points 3. Work on 3a. Ask the students to make five sentences with the words in the three boxes. (1) Get them to check their answers in pairs. (2) Ask some Ss to read out their answers to the class. (competition again,just like the revision part) (3) Find out the rules of making these sentences. 4. Work on 3c. Use the sentence patterns to make conversations Shop assistant

Then invite 2 groups of students to show their performance in front of the class. 5. Homework（家庭作业）
