Unit11 How old are you 教学目标
1、能听懂、会说、认读
Happy birthday to you! How old are you? I’m nine. 2、能听说、认读nine, ten, eleven, twelve。
3、学唱歌曲
Happy Birthday to You! 4、针对所教内容和学生个体差异,使每个学生都得到最大限度的发展。
教学重点
让学生学会对年龄的问题进行问答。 三、教学难点
会区分How old are you? 和How are you? 会对这两句做出回答。
六、教学步骤 Step1:Warming up 1、师生互相问候。
2、Let’s chant 学生跟随音乐边唱边做动作。
3、A game: Listen and do
【用歌曲充分调动学生的情绪,再采用全身反映法,不仅营造了英语学习的氛围,让学生快速进入英语学习状态】
Step2:Presentation
1、在学生做完一系列动作之后,学生坐下。对学生说:“你几岁了?”
Ss:我11岁(12 岁)。
“那么你们想不想知道用英文怎样问别人的年龄呢?”“
Today, we will learn Unit11 How old are you? ( 播放课件,让学生仔细看。
2、T:OK. What are those? Ss:These are candles. T:How many candles are there? Let’s count them together, OK? 【设计意图:创设学生熟悉而感兴趣的场景,让学生在熟悉并喜爱的环境中学习新知,可以调动学生的积极性,有利于理解和掌握新知识,为语言的运用做好准备,呈现单词,可以让孩子们对本课所学内容有初步的感知,同时培养他们的自然认知智能能力和言语智能能力。】
3T:OK, stop. What is nine and one? Ss:10.
T: It’s ten. T -E-N ,ten, read after me, three times. (出示10的图片让学生自己学习单词)
4、T:Well, look at me, what is it? (用手比出11)

T:It’s eleven.
Read it together. ( 5.
T:Look at blackboard, there is a one and a two, if I put them together, what it will be? Ss:12. T: Very good.
T:OK, read after me. I will give you three minuses to read it with your partner. T:OK, this group read it one by one. T:Let’s read them again.( 带领学生们读单词)
7、T: Today is Annie’s birthday. What they are talking about? Let’s listen to the temp carefully. OK,give you three minuses to read this dialog in your group. If you have some questions then tell me. I will give you answers. (给学生读课文时间,培养学生自主学习能力)

S1:Could you tell me what is the meaning of “birthday”? T:Great, it’s meaning is 生日. Are you clear?
8、T:OK, I have two questions, I need your help. Discuss them with your partner. I will give you two minuses. Now, begin. OK, stop, who can answer my question? The first one, how old is Annie? S1:She is nine.
T:Great, the second one, what should we say to her? S2:Happy birthday to you!
T:You did a good job. Now, let’s listen a song and sing it to Annie, ok? Ss:OK.( 设计意图: 开发学生的音乐智能,体验英语学习的快乐) Step3:Practice
1、教师举图片,学生用升降调齐读4个新单词nine, ten, eleven, twelve 各两次,再跟着课件唱Happy birthday to you!
2、Play a game:( 根据老师的指令,学生做出相应的形体) 如:T:指向nine图片,学生就用手势比出9.首先教师作出示范,然后让几个学生上前做小老师,带领全班玩这个反映游戏。
(设计意图:生动的游戏更加刺激孩子参与课堂的积极性,让孩子当小老师
更加满足学生学习的成就感,培养学生的形体智能。)

回家读课文,告诉父母今天学习的内容和收获,并把生日歌唱给父母听
