Step1 Warming up and revision
1.Greetings
T: Hello, every one, Welcome back to school.
Nice to see you again.
2.Let’s Listen to a song.
Play the recorder
Direct ss to talk about and guess:
What’s the name of this song?
Step 2 Presentation and drill Write down the title on the blackboard T: Today is the first day of our new term. I am so happy to be back to school. Let the Ss learn and practice “happy”
Show the picture “happy”
and
Ss: I am happy, too.
The Ss learn the words “happy”
Look at the picture, and practice the word ”happy”
Say “Hello” to the teacher

Play the recorder again Show the next questions Linda is sad. How come?
