来谈论过去的事情和情况

教学过程

Greeting: 2. 做动作说反义词，复习巩固学过的形容词Antonym big -–small, good- bad, happy-sad, fat-thin, short- long/ tall 师出示图片，运用形容词。

T：Here is a picture. Guess ! Who is he? 出示姚明小时候照片

S： Yang Ming. T: Yes, He was short then. But now he is tall.出示姚明现在照片。

出示两只小鸡和两个鸡蛋

T：Look! What are they? S: They are chickens. T: But then they were eggs.

Read the four sentences together. Point to “now” and “then”.引导学生感悟now 表示现在特征，应当用is ,am are, then表示以前的状态用was, were.教读Was were. 三．.巩固与练习

通过利用学生过去和现在的照片进行对比学习，学生兴致很高，情绪饱满，但在学习过程中，对于过去的描述容易出错，需要多加练习。
