Lesson7 Arriving in Beijing 教学目标:

1、知识与技能目标:

(1)使学生能听懂、说出并认读单词“men、women、children、people”。

(2)学生能够熟练应用“Who is he/she? He/she is a . What is he/she doing? He/She is ing. What are they doing? They

are ing .”等句型进行对话练习。并能正确运用“ men 、 women 、children”这些名词的单、复数形式。2、过程与方法目标:

(1)学生能够运用所学英语知识来表达看到的事情,从而提高学习英语的自信。

(2)通过多媒体课件展示,整体感知学习内容,体验感受旅行的快乐,激发生活情趣。

(3)学生通过通过小组合作学习,小组互相评价,更清晰地认识自我,体验合作,感受成功。

3、情感态度价值观:

(1)培养学生的英语语感。

(2)增强学生合作意识及竞争意识。

二、教学重难点:

1、使学生掌握单词“men、women、children、people”。

2、学生能够利用本课所学知识进行情感交际练习。

五、教学过程

Step 1:Class opening and review

1、Play a game.

(设计意图:教师与学生一起做动作,有利于激发学生的学习兴趣,激活学生原有的知识this, that, boy, girl, man, woman, 为学习新知识做必要的准备)

2、Greeting: Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? Are you happy? Now, look out the window.

How’s the weather today? I like sunny days. We are Jenny Danny Liming and Mrs. Li. We arrive in Beijing on our way to hotel.

3、Show the picture of “Some famous places in Beijing” to the students.So, Beijing is great! Let’s go to hotel by bus.

4、Now we’re on the bus.

We can look out the window on the bus. What can you see? (Review “I see……”)

(设计意图:创设在汽车的情境,使学生不知不觉引入新知,街接自然,容易接受新知识。)

Sept 2:New concept

(一)part 1

1、LiMing ,Danny ,Jenny and Mrs. Li are arriving in Beijing. Oh, arriving in Beijing. (板书课题)

2、课件出示man图,What can you see? (课件继续出示句型) This is a man. / One man. 板书:man

2、课件出示men图, Is this a man? ( 课件继续出示句型) No ,these are men. / Many men.(拼读men,从音形区别man 与men)板书:men

3、用同样的形式,课件展示学习woman, women等单词。

4、Who is a boy? Stand up, please. Who is a girl? Stand up ,please. Who is a child? The boy is a child. The girl is a child ,too . Boys and girls are children. (板书children),拼读children= child + ren .区别child 与children.

5、课件出示people图, Men, women and children are people.板书,拼读people.

(设计意图:通过多媒体课件出示单词直观、形象,能吸引学生的注意力,激发学习兴趣,并在教授单词时展示各个词之间的联系,渗透给学生学习策略。)

(二)part 2

1、Do you want to know what Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li see on their way to the hotel?Now, open your book , First you look at some questions then ,look at the part one. Listen to the tape. When the second listening, read after. Then answer these questions. 2、课件展示更多图片, Who are they? What are they doing ?( They are eating. They are running. They are playing cards.)

3、Open your book and look at the part two. Talk about these pictures with you classmate.

1) What are the women doing?

2) What are the children doing?

3) What are the men doing?

Let the student to answer questions and answer correct give evaluation.

(设计意图:适当的评价,会激发学生的学习兴趣。) Step 3: Practice

1、看课件读句子。(设计意图:学生结组进行对话练习,巩固所学知识,并培养合作意识,增强综述能力。)

Then some evaluation forms to students. Some evaluation forms to students ,to evaluation the other team.

2、课件出示习题,Let’s take a little exercise. Let a row of students answer one by one.

Step 4: Class Closing

1、Class summary . voted the best team, to their star. (设计意图:通过学生小组互评,增强合作意识,体验成功感受,也可以让学生认识自我,成为学习的主人,并促进学生养成认真倾听的好习惯。)
