三.Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warm-up and revision

1.Daily greeting to the students. 2.Revision:

Revise the words about colors and clothing learnt in the last period. T: What color is it? S: It is red.

T: Spell it ,please. S: R-E-D. T: What’s this?

S: It’s a hat. T: What color is it? S: It’s black.

It is a black hat. T: Please ask and answer about their prices. A: How much is the big black hat? B: It’s three dollars.

Step 2 Show the learning aims to students. Step3 Practice Show some pictures to students ,ask and answer about their price. 1)T: How much is the big black hat? S: It’s three dollars.

Give students three minutes to practice.

Three minutes later ,One ask , the other answer. Step 4 Look and say Let students look at the pictures, teacher ask and students answer one by one. Step 5 Grammar Focus 1.Read the Grammar Focus together. 2.All boys read the questions, all girls read the answers. 3.All girls read the questions, all boys read the answers. 4.Key points and difficulties explanation: how much可用来询问物品的价格，，根据主语单复数的不同分两种类型的句式结构：

Step 6 Work on 3a 1.Read the words in the three boxes in 3a.

2.T present the example sentences to the Ss: How much is the yellow T-shirt. 3Ask Ss to make sentences with the words. 4.Check the answers with the class. Step 7 Work on 3b 1.

Show the pictures and prices in 3b. 2.

T and Ss ask and answer the price of these things with the sentences: 1)

Step 9 Role-play

Go shopping. One student is the seller(售货员) , the other one is the customer（顾客）. Then make a conversation .

A: Can I help you? B: Yes, please. I want …

B: I’ll take it / them. Thank you.
