Hello, everyone, I am Cao Meng, it is my great honor to have this opportunity to share some of my teaching ideas with you. My topic is Unit5 Do you have a soccer ball? Section A Grammar Focus. I have decided to say the lesson from seven parts: Part I---The analysis of the teaching material This part tells us something about present tense to have and Yes/No questions and short answers Part II---Teaching aims 1.

Difficult point To know the general usage of present tense Part IV--- The analysis of Ss The Ss have learned English for 4 years. They understand some words and simple sentences. They are curious, active and fond of games, competitions and other activities. They enjoy learning through cooperation in a relaxing atmosphere. Part V---Teaching methods In this lesson, my teaching methods include communicative teaching method , task-based teaching methods. Besides, a multi-media computer, a blackboard are needed as the teaching aids. Part VI---Teaching procedures There are six steps in my teaching procedures. But before teaching, I will divide the whole class into 6 groups to do competitions while they finish different tasks in this lesson. Step 1 Leading-in To show some pictures about different sports Purpose: to activate the Ss to love different kinds of sports and create a relaxing atmosphere. Step 2 Thinking 1.

Purpose: Through group work, cultivate the spirit of cooperation, and train the ability of solving problems by themselves. In class, the teacher is just a guide while the Ss are the center. The teacher just join them, giving suggestions and offering help when they need.
