Teaching procedures: Step 1. Greetings.(let all the students practice their name)

Step 2. Presentation

Show the eight names on the slide picture first and ask students to read. Then put them in order according to the fist letter. Step 3.Work on 4a Let the students to write the names of the children on page S1.Then finish 4a. Step 4.listening 4b Students listen and repeat. Make sure students understand the difference between the two “A” sounds and the two “E”sounds Step 5.work on 4c Read aloud the words on the left.Ask students to repeat.Make sure they know the distinction between different pronunciations of the same letter.Ask students try to read the new words on the right.

Step 6.Listen and sing the song Play the tape for the students listen first. Then sing after the tape. At last just play the music and let students sing together. Homework.
