【教学过程】

Step1. Warm-up 1. Enjoy the song Calorie and answer two questions:

1) Why should we say goodbye to these snacks? 2) Why should we say goodbye to computer games and do more exercise? 2. Have a better understanding of a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle. Step2. Pre-listening 1. Do a questionnaire about lifestyle. Then do a report on the student’s own lifestyle. 2. Ask and answer the questions in pairs . Then do a report on the partner’s own lifestyle. Step3. While-listening

1. Listen to the tape and finish Part A2 on P75 and check the answers.

2. Listen to the tape again and finish the report on Benny’s lifestyle.

3. Finish Part A3. Work out the scores and talk about Benny’s and the students’ lifestyles. Step4. Speak up 1. Listen to the tape again and answer three questions.

2. Read the conversation between Millie and Andy.

3. Make a similar conversation. Step5. Post-listening

1. Watch a video and do a role-play.

2. Summarize how to keep pets. Step6. Homework Finish off the exercises on the sheet. Love animals, love nature and love ourselves.
