Step2 General Reading

Ask students to read the article by themselves and loudly and answer these questions 1. What’s Amy’s favourite pet’s name and how old is she?

2. What personality does Poppy have? 3. Does Poppy live a comfortable life? Why? Ask students to read the article silently and try to divide it into 3 parts. Tell them to say something about the main idea of each paragraph.

Step3 Read in detail and Practice 1.

Let students read paragraph 2 and try to fill in the blanks.
