Emotional objectives: To express your different feelings with proper tones. Analysis of students: 本节课为译林版牛津英语七年级下册Unit4 Finding your way Study skills。主要是让学生了解英语的语调对句子意思表达的影响，教会学生运用正确的语音语调来表达自己的意思。

本节课的教学对象为七年级的学生,他们已经初步地掌握了听说读写的能力，但是普遍存在语音语调不正确的问题。这些问题处理不好，对学生学会正确发音和正确而有效地用英语表达和理解，都会产生难以逾越的障碍。本课以任务型教学为根本，根据初一学生的生理、心理特点，通过播放网上语调教学视频，对话视频等激发学生的学习兴趣，同时采用多种活动方式如pair work, group discussion，make a conversation, look and act等来反复操练语音语调。

Music has high notes, low notes and the notes in the middle. English is just like music. There are falling tones and rising tones when we speak. 【设计意图】将英语语调与音乐类比，让学生产生共鸣，然后引入升调和降调的概念。

Then read them out loud. 2) Make a conclusion When we speak, we drop our tone at the end of a statement. When we ask a wh-question, our tone usually falls at the end of the question When we ask a yes / no question, our tone rises at the end of the question. We make our tone rise at the end of a sentence to show surprise. 【设计意图】观看外教制作的关于语调的教学视频，让学生认识到不同的句型需要用不同的语调来读。进而介绍常用的句子类型并让学生做匹配练习。在学生能够正确识别句型后，通过听本课句子录音，练习模仿正确的语调。
