Lesson 7 It’s seven thirty-five. Objective: 1. 熟练掌握时间的问法和表示方法。

2.熟练掌握It’s time for+名词,It’s time to+动词的用法。

3.能够根据本节课所学知识进行口语对话和阅读练习。

Teaching steps: 1.Leading-in. (Lets chant) Tick, tock, tick, tock. Merrily sings the clock. It’s time for dinner. It’s time for supper. So it sings through all the day. Tick, tock, tick. tock. Merrily sings the clock. (1)

Listen to the tape the chant. (2)

Try to say the chant together. (3)

Teacher asks the students, “what can the clock tell us?” The students answer, “the time.” Teacher says, “ Yes, you are so clever. Today we’ll learn the time.”(板书课题)

2.Learn the sentence “What time is it? What’s the time?”

(1) Teacher shows a clock to the students, “Look, I have a nice clock. Look at the clock carefully and try to tell the time you see.”

T: What time is it? / What’s the time? Ss: It’s one o’clock. T: What time is it? / What’s the time? Ss: It’s seven ten. T: What time is it? / What’s the time? Ss: It’s seven thirty. T: What time is it? / What’s the time? Ss:(师帮助学生回答)It’s seven thirty-five. T: What time is it? / What’s the time?

Ss: It’s eleven forty-five. T: Wonderful. You did a good job. Now ask and answer with your deskmate please. (2) Ask and answer with the deskmate. (3) Show time. 学生两两进行对话展示。

3. Learn the sentence “It’s time for ….” and “It’s time ….”. (1) Teacher says “What’s the time now?” The students tell the time. Teacher says “Thank you. It’ time for English class.”并反复强调“It’s time for English class.”

(2)Look at picture 1and say “ What time is it? It’s six thirty. It’s time for breakfast.”师板书“It’s time for breakfast.”

通过老师的引导,学生能够很快明白

“It’s time for….”所表达的意思。

“It’s time for breakfast.”并说:“It’s time to have breakfast.”同时板书。并指着刚才学生练习的图片说: “It’s time to go to school. It’s time to have lunch. It’s time to have supper.”让学生试着理解It’s time for…和It’s time to…的区别。
