教学目标：

能听懂、会说、认读、会写单词city，call，place，film，farm。

（2）

能听懂、会说、认读句子“There are many beautiful places in my city. Are there any cinemas in your city? Yes, there are ten cinemas here. Are there any parks there? Yes, there are three. Is there a farm here? No, there isn’t.”。

能够在图片或实物的帮助下读懂故事，并能够回答课后问题。

（1）培养学生合作学习的习惯。

（2）培养学生乐于运用英语进行交流和表达的能力。

二、教学重难点：

能够在图片或实物的帮助下理解故事并能够朗读故事。

能够运用所学的语言询问某地有什么设施。

三、教学准备：

课本、单词图片、多媒体课件

四、教学过程：

1. 热身环节。

（1）师生用英语互相问候。

（2）复习活动。

教师通过多媒体课件呈现学过的地点名词，如：school,library,gym…并借此复习句型：Is there a…

in your school? Are there…in your school?

（3）畅所欲言。课件呈现城市和乡村的图片，让学生自由发言，说说城市和乡村的不同。

2. 新知呈现和操练。

（1）教师借着自由发言的话题，引出课题。

（2）由图片引出新单词：city，call, place, film, farm.集体读，小组读，开火车读，个人读。

（3）学习课文内容。朗读，讲解中文意思。

（4）用课文出现的四个地点的图片，让学生复述课文内容。

（5）回答课后问题。

3. 巩固拓展。

图片展示我们所在的城市的不同地方，让学生记忆，并且用Is there a … in your city? Yes, there is. No, there isn’t.

Are there any… in your city? Yes, there are. No, there aren’t. 描述。学生间四人一组练习，每组由一个学生代表发言。

4. 小结。

五、作业布置：

1.抄写本课的单词，一个写两行。

2.朗读本课课文，要求能熟练地朗读出来。
