This lesson is 1B UNIT 4 Health food Lesson24. Through classroom teaching, students can accept the input language in a relaxed atmosphere. Help students learn by doing and singing. Create situation to stimulate students' interest in learning. Teaching Analysis

According to the composition of the course, combined with the characteristics of the primary students, design teaching centering around the students.

Free talk and use the scene picture on CAI to present chicken. (Purpose: Lead-in, create situation to promote Ss' interest) 2. Ss learn to read:chicken a. Point the word on CAI, Ss repeat. b. Use word card to teach reading “chicken”

like this: i,i,i,ch,i,chi,en,en,en,ck,en,cken, chicken,Ss repeat, then try to read,at last read by boys/girls.

(Purpose: Help Ss to read the word.) c. Point the word on CAI, Ss repeat. Show the word card and have s read it one by one. d. Put up the word card “chicken”

on the board. 3. Let’s sing

T: Do you like chicken?...Let’s sing. Use CAI to present, Ss sing together . Then, have Ss sing without music and put up the cards of “What do you want? I want”

on the board.

(Purpose: Practice chicken and the sentence, relax, promote Ss' interest in English learning.) 4. Ss learn to say”

I want some chicken”. a. Show picture card of chicken: “What do you want?”

Help Ss say”

I want some chicken”. (Purpose: Create situation to help Ss understand and say the phrases.) b. Show word card ”some chicken”

and have Ss repeat, then Ss read it group by group. c. Put up the word card “some chicken” . 5.Do a survey ”We have fish and chicken. What do you want?”

Show picture cards and have Ss ask “We have fish and chicken. What do you want?”

confidence in English speaking.) Step 3 Consolidation & Extension 1. Listen and number: Use CAI to present, Ss listen and number. Then check Ss’

answer.(Listening)

from three levels: listening, speaking, reading.)
