一、教材分析

本课是上海教育出版社小学英语四年级下册第7单元My day。

ⅰBackground on the new reformation of curriculum, the textbook can connect the life to course and emphasize the interest and experience of students.

ⅱSuch a topic is related to the dail y life of our students, so it’s helpful to raise learning interest of the students and it will be also helpful to improve their expression ability and social sense.

二、学情分析

ⅰPrimary school students tend to be active and can’t keep their attention for a long time.

ⅱTo be concrete, student in Grade 4 have studied English at least more than 2 years and they’ve had certain skills in English. They are eager to learn, eager to show and their abstract thinking is developing.

三、单元教学目标

1.学生能够准确地表达时间点。

2.学生能够用核心词组来准确地表达自己的一天。

3. 学生也能够转述他人的一天。

4. 培养学生的时间观念和良好的学习、生活习惯。

2、学会时间表达,并融入到自己一天的描述当中。

七、Teaching procedures:

StepⅰWarming up

Greet students as usual firstly.

Step ⅱ Lead-in

Chant

Play the recording of my chant.

Let students follow it to revise what they have learned and lead to the new lesson.

Step ⅲPresentation

1、Present different clocks to let students learn the usage of o’clock.

2、Let students listen to the recording of my day. Students can match the four clocks with the four given pictures.

Then read it and change the time to consolidate the expression of integral point.

T: What time do I get up? Take out your papers and find out. 3、然后转动时针,让它从9转到12或从12转到3,引出a quarter,通过不同的时间引出a quarter to/past的时间的表达。

T:(move the long hand of the clock from 12 to 3) It’s a quarter. (set the time at 7:15) I t’s a quarter past sever. (set the time at 7:45) It’s a quarter to eight.

Let students to set the hands of clock to perceive the real meaning a quarter past and a quarter to. And then set the hands of clock to let our students say the accurate time. Through comparing a quarter past and a quarter to, to give our students better explanation.

4、出示几个不同时间的钟面图,用问句What time is it?进行提问让学生快速说出时间。

T: What time is it?

Ss: It’s two o’clock/half past seven/a quarter to six. 5、Use three little pigs to talk about their time.

T: What time do they get up?

What time do they brush their teeth?

What time do they have breakfast?

Aims to consolidate key phrases and expressions.

6、Use ppt to let students know the meaning of half. It’s a important

and difficult points.

Step ⅷ Pair Work

Then ask Ss to do pair work using the pattern what we have learnt.

Step ⅸGroup work

1、Let students work in group of four to talk about three little pigs’ day.

2、Let students work in group of four to talk about their day and then choose one of them to give report to our students.

Step ⅴRead and repeat.

1.Read the whole article and then let students read themselves.

2、Take away some parts of blackboard and then let them to finish it together and repeat them to give the topic of the lesson.

Step ⅵSummary

Let students talk about what we have learnt and then give supplement. Then use PPt to give conclusion.

Step ⅶHomework

T: Now the class is coming to the end. I will give you three jobs. One, finish the timetable.For next class, I will check your homework. Two, tell your timetable to your family members. Three, finish the part of your books.

课例策略小结

1.中年级英语学科多维度创设情境进行话语文本学习是本节课例研究的专题,我主要从听说读写四方面来设计练习、巩固所学语言点、操练语言点。由于这节课要体现白板的功能,我在设计的时候,更多的让学生来作答,把时间留给了学生,把自主权也留给了学生,让学生参与到了活动中来。提高了学生学习的积极性,有利于知识的吸收。

2. 利用TPR教学,让学生更直观、更感性地认识事物,学习事物以及使用事物。

让重点知识融入游戏中,体现小学英语寓教于乐的精教学精髓。
