教学过程：

Step 1：Lead-in 1. T: Look at this picture. What’s this?

S: It’s a map.

T:Yes. It’s the map of the world. What can you see in the map?

S: I can see…

T: Can you find our country? Do you know where America/ the UK/ Australia is? 2. T: We know there are a lot of countries in our world. Look. The children are going to learn about one. Can you guess which country they will learn about?

S: Australia.

T: Good. Today we are going to learn Unit 6 An interesting country. Let’s find out whether it’s an interesting country or not.

[教学意图]带领学生观察有趣的世界地图，熟悉学过的国家有哪些特色和他们的位置，鼓励他们用已知语言描述，增长地理知识的同时引起学生兴趣。接着让同学们观察课本图片，猜测所学国家，从而引出课题。

Step 2：Presentation 1. Watch and choose

T：Now, let’s first watch the cartoon and then answer my 2 questions, OK?

新授will，learn about，find out about [教学意图]看动画，初步感知课文，回答问题。新授部分词汇，为课文学习扫除障碍。

2. Listen and match

T：They will find out about Australia in different ways. How will they find out about Australia? Please listen and match.

新授send，magazine [教学意图]先学左半边课文，听原文进行图片匹配。同时新授send和magazine，让学生体会will的用法。

3. Listen and repeat 4. Retell

T：Now can you retell? [教学意图]听读之后，让学生根据图片和板书复述四人了解澳大利亚的方法，练习will的句型使用，巩固知识点。

T: Here’s a video about Australia. Let’s enjoy and then tell me your ideas.
