Unit 3 Holiday fun

一、教学目标

1.能通过联想、迁移、构词法等学习策略初步掌握过去式：go—went, visit-visited, see-saw, pick-picked, catch-caught, eat-ate及词汇：bund, museum. National Day

2.能在具体的情景中运用句型：Where did you go for the holiday?? What did you do? Did you …? 提问并用过去式结构回答。并运用这些句型就节日话题与他人交流。

3.能模仿课文录音，增强英语语感。

4.能尝试运用英语描述发生在过去的行为。

5.能借助图片和文字听懂、读懂和朗读课文。

二、教学重点

1. 学生能借助动画，图片，录音等素材，完成教师布置的任务，从而达到理解课文。

2.通过不同形式的朗读、学生能用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

三、教学难点

1.尝试仿照故事口头描述过去发生的事情。

Step1.Warming-up

T：Hello ,boys and girls. Do you like summer holiday? Ss: Yes, I do. T: Me too. Last summer holiday, I went to Thailand. I rode elephants, went boating and ate nice food. What about you? Where did you go? S: I went to…

T: I think we all had a lot of fun during holidays. So today we will learn a new unit. Unit3 Holiday fun. (Teach：holiday)

Step2 While reading 1.整体理解

T:Just now, we talked about our holidays. Let’s guess, what holiday did Mike

and Liu Tao talk about? 生提出猜想，师出示引言。

Teach: National Day-----National Day holiday-----the National Day holiday 朗读引言部分。

T：Do you have any other questions? You can ask：What, Where, How, When..? 生自由提问，师相机板书。

T: First, let’s answer this question. Where did they go? Let’s watch the cartoon.

S: Liu Tao went to shanghai. Mike went to a farm near Star Lake. Teach: Star Lake 2.分层理解

T: What did Liu Tao do in Shanghai? What did Mike do on the farm? Please read the story by yourselves. You can circle what they did. (1)
