一、单元教材简析

本单元通过电子邮件的方式，围绕“春节”这一主题，展示了香港女孩Ann一家春节的活动计划，学生用书五年级下册Unit7中已就“春节”这个话题展开了初步的讨论，教师可以和学生复习春节时人们通常进行的活动，导入本单元的话题。电子邮件和网友的话题在五年级上册Unit6也已提及过，教师也可以网友或写电子邮件的话题导入本单元的内容。

本单元呈现了be going to…表达将来时的肯定句和特殊疑问句。教师在教授这一句型结构时，可以和已学过的时态（一般现在时，一般过去式、现在进行时），进行对比，设计综合的操练活动，以加强学生对不同时态的理解和运用。另外，be going to结构的疑问句将在六年级下册Unit5呈现。
