3. To be able to clearly describe things in a bag. Teaching Methods: Situational Method, Activity Method. Teaching Aids: CAI, multi-media, cards. Teaching Procedures: StepⅠ Warm up and Lead in 1. Greet the students warmly. 2. Let’s sing Hello and do actions. 3. Look at a picture of a panda and say hello to him. Then chant with him: I have a ruler. Me too! I have a pencil. Me too! I have a crayon. Me too! I have an eraser. Me too! StepⅡ Presentation 1. Show 4 pictures: a ruler, a crayon, a pencil, an eraser. Ask Ss to say the words according to the pictures.

2. Put the 4 things into a pencil box. Learn the phrase: pencil box. Lead Ss to say the sentence: I have a pencil box. 3. Show a picture of a bag. Learn the word: bag. Then show a book coming out of the bag. Learn the word: book. Use the same method to teach the word “pen”. 4. Let’s do (1)Learn the 4 sentences: Show me your pen. Open your pencil box. Close your book. Carry your bag. (2)Ask Ss to chant and do actions. Then choose 4 students to do actions and other students chant. StepⅢ Practice

1. Show some word cards: pencil box, book, bag, pen, show, open, close, carry. Divide the class into 2 groups. Each group choose 4 students and an assistant. Each student makes a sentence with the cards. 2. Memory match: Put up 8 pictures on the blackboard. Ask Ss to turn over the pictures according to the order of the words. Each group choose one student to play the game. 3. Let’s say: Show your bag and say “I have a/an …”. StepⅣ Summary and Homework
