一、教学分析：

教材分析：

本课是一节新授课。主要内容是通过李明写给他爸爸的一封信，并询问去邮局的路，来学习书信格式和有关知识。

学生分析：

五年级学生活泼好动，想象力丰富，又进行了两年多的英语学习。属小学高年级阶段。要发挥其求知欲旺盛的特点，借助信息技术手段，通过创设情境，实现英语学习活动化，英语活动交际化。体现学生英语学习的自主性。

二、教学目标：

知识目标：

学生可以说出并且听懂词语：turn left, turn right, go straight （3）

初步了解英文信件用语和格式。

通过多种形式培养学生听、说、读、写能力。

让学生了解英文信件的一般格式和写信用语，了解中西文化的差异，初步培养一定的文化情结。

一个有长孔的纸盒上面写有postbox。

一个装有全班每个学生姓名和住址的纸条的袋子。

多媒体课件，录音机、磁带、单词卡片。

一枚邮票（可自制），胶水。

找一个小邮递员把信送到每人手中，他会感到很荣幸。

本课旨在以任务型教学途径为学生提供较大的实践空间，比较好地发挥学生的主动性和创造性。

课中的写信活动设计有实际意义。同学之间非常熟悉，有话可说，可以避免千篇一律，较大地发挥学生的主动创造性。需要注意的是，课前教师一定要对写有每个学生姓名地址的字条认真把关，避免写信受到影响。这节课我有一次就设计让学生在头天的家庭作业中完成字条，课上直接拿出使用，结果出现许多问题，影响了课堂进度和氛围，很失败。

整堂课，学生都在做有意义的活动，精力集中，饶有兴趣。到了寻找邮局的游戏，达到了课堂气氛的高潮，全员参与，气氛热烈，充分体现了小学英语“玩中学，学中玩”的教学理念。

结课时让所有学生把信投寄，照顾了课堂的完整性，同时延伸到课下，小小投递员的选择是课堂评价中激励学生的做法，分给学生一份渴望得到的工作，他便得到了被赏识重用的喜悦。
