Unit 4 My Day

Teaching content: Language: 1.Target: What time is it? It’s 7:10. It’s time to get dressed. Brush your teeth, Jenny. What time do you go to school? I go to school at 7: 30. Wake up, Tony. Go to sleep,Gogo! 2. Sounds and words Vocabulary: 1.Key: get up, get dressed, brush my teeth, go to school, get home, do my homework, eat dinner, go to bed 2. Sounds and words: tea, meet, key, peas, three, sea Materials: picture cards, radio Period one: Teaching content: Vocabulary: get up, get dressed, brush my teeth, go to school, et home, do my homework, eat dinner, go to bed . Target , Chant Teaching objectives: 1.Capable of listening.speaking.reading the words. 2.Capable of listening and reading Target. 3.Capable of chanting.

Teaching key points: Vocabulary. Target Teaching difficult points: “get dressed, brush, homework”

Teaching aids: Pictures,tape recordor Teaching procedure: 一.Warming up. 1.Greetings. 2.Sing songs. 3.Title. 二.Vocabulary: 1.Show Ss the picture side of Picture Cards . T: Listen and repeat . Get up . 2.Continue with other Picture Cards. 3.Ask Ss to make up pantomimes for these phrases. T: Listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each word as you say it. 4.Play the tape and have Ss repeat. 5.Pantomime the actions in random order and have Ss say the words. 6.Point to the numbers 21-60 in the book and read them aloud. Have Ss listen and repeat.

7.Using a large clock help Ss understand the relationship between the numbers 21-60 and t he minutes on the clock . 三.Target. 1.·Draw a smiling face on the board and write I underneath. Put one of the Picture Cards, e.g. bank, next to it. ·T: What time is it? 2.·Put up the picture card of jenny on the board. 3.·Have Ss look at the picture on the page. 4.·Ask individual Ss to read out the sentences. 5.·Play the tape a few times and have Ss repeat. 四. Chant activity 1.Have Ss look at the pictures around the lyrics. 2.Do the same with the picture of movie theater, T:

let’s sing the song! Let’s listen to the tape first.

3.Play the tape and point to each word as it is chanted. 4.Play the tape again and have all Ss chant together. 5.Divide the class into two groups. One group sings the questions and the other sings the answers. Then switch. 6.Have Ss practice singing with the new lyrics. To match the rhythm of

the last line, have Ss sing

Let’s sing the song with our new lyrics. 7.Play the laraoke version of the song and have the whole class sing. 五.Game: T say the word,four S on the platform do the action. 六Summerise. 七.Homework.
