Teaching procedures Step 1 Preparation 1.Review. First,let’s review the subjects.

Why do you like it? 2.Fill in the blanks. 3.What’s the meaning of the words?

Step 2 Presentation & practice Presentation 1 Learn new words. Show the descriptions to the students, and lead students to learn the new words:free/cool practice 1 Finish Section B 1a and 1b. Presentation 2 T:Do you know the days of the week?What are they? the days of the week Show the days of the week, and lead students to learn the new words: This is Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday .We have math on Monday.We have art on Tuesday.We are very busy from Monday to Friday. But we are free on Saturday and Sunday. practice 2 Let's listen to a song about the week. Let the students sing the song. Presentation 3 Show the class schedule to the students, Ask Ss questions about the schedule in 1c,and lead students to learn the new words: A.M./P.M. What classes does David have on Monday morning ? What classes does David have on the afternoon of Tuesday? ... These questions can help students get familiar with the schedule. Practice 3 1.Listen and finish 1c. 2.Listen again and check T or F. Step 3 Production 1.Just now we listened to a conversation about David. Fill in the blanks in 1d and practice the dialogue with your partner.

2.Group work: Interview your group mates and report it to your class. A: What's your favorite subject? B: __________. A: Why do you like __________? B: Because it is ____________.
