一、Greetings: 1. English speech by a student. 2. Teacher asks some questions about day/date/weather/season, students answer. 二、Warm-up: T: There are many animals in the world. What animal do you know? Students answer. T: Now I want to play a guessing game with you. Listen and guess. 1.
They’re naughty. They like to climb trees. They like to eat bananas. What are they?(Monkeys.) Then teacher shows the picture of monkeys. 2.
They like to eat leaves from the trees. They’re the tallest animal in the world.(Giraffes.) Then teacher shows the picture of giraffes. 3.
They’re the biggest sea animals. They can jump out of the sea.(Blue whales.) Then teacher shows the picture of blue whales. There are some other pictures of animals. Can you say their names? 4.
Teacher divides the class into 4 groups. Each group is a kind of animal. 三、Lead-in: 1.
Do the animals live in your house? Do they live in our classroom? Do they live in the playground? Where do they live?
Our topic today is: Lesson 3 Where Do They Live? 2.
Different animals live in different places. Here are some new words. Please open your books, listen, point and repeat. 四、Practice: 1. Now please practice the words in pairs. 2. Can you say the words? Let’s check one by one.

Teacher teaches the difficult words and clarify the meanings of each word in English. 4.
Students look at the pictures of sea/ lake/ river to say the words. 5.

Lead in the title of passage: One Earth One Family. Teacher reads the basic form. Students listen and watch. 2.
