《典范英语》Who is it? 教学设计
一、教学目标
1.
语言能力目标:
学生能够读懂故事情节;惟妙惟肖地模仿录音;绘声绘色地独立朗读故事;
能根据人物剪影辨识人物并说出人物名字;
学会在不同生活场景使用“Who is it? It is …”;
初步掌握字母“i”的拼读规律。
2. 情感目标:
通过让学生观察人物特点和预测故事情节培养学生的观察力和想象力;
培养学生敢读、敢表达的自信和勇气。
二、教学用具
多媒体设备、CD机、课件(课题组提供)、单词卡(Mum, Dad, Biff, Chip, Kipper, Floppy)、人物图片及剪影(Mum, Dad, Biff, Chip, Kipper, Floppy)。
三、基本步骤
1. 导入(Lead-in):
通过展示人物图片,引导学生观察人物特点,让学生认识Kipper一家人,为看图讲故事做好铺垫。
(1)教师将家庭成员(Mum, Dad, Biff, Chip, Kipper, Floppy)的图片粘贴在黑板上,用This is …句型逐一介绍。
We have some new friends. They are a family. Shall we meet them? (指着Mum人物图)This is Mum.
(指着Dad人物图)This is Dad.
(指着Biff人物图)This is Biff.
(指着Chip人物图)This is Chip. (指着Kipper人物图)This is Kipper.
(指着Floppy图片)This is Floppy, a lovely dog.
(2)教师引导学生观察人物特点,提出问题,让学生回答。
(指着Dad人物图)Look at this picture. Who is it? It’s Dad. Is Dad tall? Yes, Dad is tall.
(指着Mum人物图及Mum的耳环)Look at this picture. Who is it? It’s Mum. Mum has earrings. Does Dad have earrings? No.
(指着Biff人物图)Look at this picture. Who is it? It’s Biff. Biff is a girl. Does Biff have long hair? Yes, Biff has long hair.
(指着Chip人物图)Look at this picture. Who is it? It’s Chip. Is Chip a girl? No, Chip is a boy. What colour is Chip’s hair? His hair is brown.
(指着Kipper人物图)Look at this picture. Who is it? It’s Kipper. Kipper is a boy, too. What colour is Kipper’s hair? His hair is yellow. (指着Floppy图片)What about this picture? It’s Floppy. Floppy is a lovely dog. 之后,自然过渡到看图讲故事环节:What are they doing? Let’s learn the story. 1

看图讲故事(Storytelling):理解故事情节,观察一家人做影子游戏时的情景
教师利用课件逐幅播放故事图片,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘色地讲故事,让学生充分感受一家人在玩影子游戏时其乐融融的家庭氛围。
(Picture 1)Were they playing a game? Yes. They were playing a shadow game. Look! What are these? (教师指向图片中Biff和Chip的影子)
These are shadows.(教师可将shadow写在黑板上)
(Picture 2)Who is it?(BQ: Is it Chip? Is it Biff?)It’s Biff. (教师指向图片中的Biff)
Look! Biff made a gun.(模仿Biff的动作)
And who is it? (BQ: Is it Kipper? Is it Chip?)It’s Chip. (教师指向图片中的Chip)
Chip made a dog. (模仿Chip的动作)
(Picture 3)Now look at these two shadows.
Who is it? (BQ: Is it Mum?)It’s Mum. (教师指向图片中的Mum)
And who is it? (BQ: Is it Chip? Is it Kipper?)It’s Kipper. (教师指向图片中的Kipper)
They were making funny shadows too. (模仿Mum和Kipper的动作)

“It’s a spaceman,” said Mum. Is it a real spaceman? (展示spaceman图片)

What’s on Dad’s head? (BQ: Is it a hat?)It’s a bowl. Dad had a bowl on his head. (教师指向爸爸的头)
He looked like a spaceman. 本环节中,教师要把握故事主线,无需过度关注图片细节,并尽量使用符合学生实际水平的英文。教师要注意启发学生思考,每次提问之后稍作停顿,不要急于说出答案,先观察学生的反应,如学生仍回答困难,再进一步给出提示引导学生作答。

听录音模仿(Listening and Imitating):听懂录音并模仿出标准的语音语调
听录音模仿时,录音是什么音什么调,就让学生模仿成什么音什么调,注意连读(is it)和缩略词(it’s)的读法。
(1)放录音,让学生完整地听一遍故事,整体输入,不需停顿。
(2)放录音,全班学生齐声模仿2-3遍。要求学生逐句跟录音指读,鼓励学生大胆开口,读出戏剧化效果,读出感情。
(3)放录音,请不同的学生分别模仿,看谁模仿得像。教师要对连读和缩略词的读法
进行示范和指导,如:Who
is⌒it? (连读is⌒it)No,
it’s Dad.(缩略it’s)。

朗读故事(Reading Dramatcially):读懂故事并学会绘声绘色地独立朗读故事

通过集体朗读和个人朗读,让学生能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事,培养学生有感情朗读故事的习惯。朗读的形式可以多样化:
(1)全班集体朗读。教师组织全班同学齐声朗读一遍。
(2)分组比赛朗读。将学生分成几个小组,进行小组间的朗读比赛。
(3)个人朗读。请几个学生独立朗读故事,教师根据学生读的情况给予表扬、鼓励和指导。
朗读过程中,教师要对朗读困难或有问题的学生给予指导和示范。
5.
游戏(Games):
Knock! Knock! 学以致用,通过“Knock! Knock!”游戏,让学生学会在猜测人物、敲门等真实生活情景中运用“Who is it? It’s …”的表达方式。
教师准备好故事人物Mum, Dad, Biff, Chip, Kipper, Floppy的单词卡片。
请一个学生上台抽取其中一张,自己看过卡片上的名字后交给教师,但不要被其它同学看到。然后请该学生站到门外敲门,教室里面的学生齐声问“Who is it?”该学生回答“It’s (Kipper).”
教师将抽到的卡片给教室里面的学生看,如果正确,则大家齐声说“Come in.”;如果错误,则大家齐声说“Oh, no!”,教师重新问“Who is it?”,直到该学生回答正确为止。
该游戏可做2-3次,教师可根据实际教学情况而定。
6. 拼读练习(Practising Phonics):培养拼读意识,掌握字母“i”的拼读规律
(1)找出含有字母“i”的一组单词:is/it/Biff/Chip/Kipper 教师在黑板上写出Biff一词,并在字母“i”下划线,然后让学生找出本课中含有字母“i”的其他词。教师用语可参考:Which word has the letter “i”? “Biff” has the letter “i”. “Chip”
has the letter “i”. (2)音形结合,让学生感知字母“i”的拼读规律
教师带学生大声朗读is/it/Biff/Chip/Kipper2-3遍,然后,带学生一起拍手练习下面一首儿歌。练习时,注意连读(is⌒it)和缩略词(it’s)的读法。
Who is it? Who is it? Is it Biff? Yes, it’s Biff. Is it Chip? No, it’s Kipper. Is it Kipper? No, it’s Chip.
Biff, Chip, Kipper,
They all have the letter “i”.
四、家庭作业(Homework)
(1)反复模仿录音,熟读故事。
(2)与家人一起制作故事人物图和名字卡,玩猜人物游戏。
