Wuxi Guangqin Middle School Teaching aims: By the end of this lesson, the students are expected to be able to: 1. grasp the key words, phrases and drills in this unit. 2. say something about Sunshine Town and grasp the language points of the article. 3. use Noun + ’s and use Possessive adjectives and pronouns to express the idea of belonging and more usage of genitive. 4. master how to write an article about my hometown.

Teaching procedures: Step 1 Revision & Practice 1. Revise some words of the unit. 2. Complete the sentences. Step 2 Review & Practice 1. Review some phrases and useful expressions.

2. Say something about the pictures. Step 3 Listening Listen and fill in the blanks. The passage is about Sunshine Town. Step 4 Revision & Practice 1. Go over some important language points in Reading. 2. Revise Noun + ’s and more usage of genitive. 3. Finish some exercises. Step 5 Revision & Practice 1. Revise Possessive adjectives and pronouns. 2. Complete some exercises. Step 6 Consolidation 1. Reading comprehension. Welcome to Thailand. 2. Write a passage about my hometown. Homework 1.
