1. 能读懂Start to read部分的阅读材料并独立完成判断练习。

2. 能正确完成Let’s check部分的习题。

3. 能听懂并理解Story time 的内容。

4. 复习巩固本单元所学单词和句型。

Step1 Review(Warm-up) 1. Greeting. 2. Let Ss listen and follow to sing the song “I love my family”. 3. T says these words one by one, have Ss spell them out. pen red ten leg

4. Game: What’s missing?

Show Ss word cards: grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, brother, sister. Take out one and let Ss say what’s missing.

Step2 Overview Task: Show different families and let Ss make new dialogue to talk about these families with the sentence structures they have learned in Unit 1 and 2.

Step3 Presentation Start to read (1) Read and match T: Look. This is Wu Yifan. He is introducing his family. Please read these sentences, and match them with the pictures. (2) Listen, repeat and act

Play the tape, Ss listen and repeat. Then Ss role play Wu Yifan and introduce the family in pairs. Then let several Ss act in class. 2. Let’s check

( 1 )Listen and number.

Ss look at the 4 pictures carefully in one minute. Play the tape twice, Ss listen and

number the pictures. Then check the answers. Play it again, Ss listen and repeat. ( 2 )Look and tick Let Ss finish this exercise and check their answers. 3. Story time (1) Let Ss watch the video. Ask and answer: T: Who’s that woman? Ss: She’s Zoom’s mother. T: Is she a teacher? Ss: No. T: She’s an actress.

Tell Ss the meaning of “actress”. T: Is Zoom beautiful? Ss: Yes. Let Ss underline the sentences they don’t understand and explain to them. (2) Play the video again and let Ss follow it. (3) Let Ss act out the story.
