Unit 6 Summer Vacation 教学目标:

1、

通过听说读写等形式的语言活动复习Travel Plan等话题的重点词汇和功能句。

2、

能用一般将来时表达自己的假期旅行计划;

3、

教育学生外出旅行要注意交通和人身安全,并保护环境。

教学重难点:

伦敦和美国的著名建筑的英文表达和一些短语的理解。

Time to stay的表达。用for+一段时间。

教学方法:

情景教学法、任务型教学法、小组合作探究法。

教具准备:

多媒体、ppt。

教学过程:

Step Ⅰ. Warming up 1. Greetings. 2. Free talk. A: what is the weather like today? B: It’s hot …. A: what season is it now? B: Summer.

A: Summer vacation is coming .where are you going? B: I’m going to the USA. A: What are you going to do there? B: I’m going to see … and visit …. Step Ⅱ. Presentation 1. Lead-in Show the pictures of Tina, Jenny and Sherry, lead in the new text. 2. Self study (1) Read the text quickly, answer the question: Where are they going? (2) Group work: Discuss your answer in groups. (3) Show the answers, and then check them. (4) Listen to the video, meanwhile point the words one by one, pay attention to these phrases: the school dancing club, by plane, July 15, stay there for six days, take many photos. (5) Group work: Discuss these phases in groups. (6) Show time and check them. 3. Practice: Fill in the chart. (1) Read the text, underlines the information about the chart.

(2) Write down your answers. (3) Discuss your answers in groups. (4) Show time then check the answers. 4. Listen and follow. Step Ⅲ. Consolidation 1. Complete the passage. 2.为各国特色算国家。

本节课是第六单元第二课时,这是一节阅读课,也算是一节复习课,从热身环节开始我就提前进行了相关知识的铺垫谈论天气谈论季节引出课题暑假。谈论暑假有什么安排打算去什么地方以及会问别人的暑假打算去哪里做什么,一般将来时态是本课时的重点。学生对西方国家的特色都有所了解,我觉得这节课最大的不足之处是让学生听的少个别环节流于形式操练的不到位,只是关注了个别学生,整体操练多,个体操练少,在以后的课堂上要改变观念多关注整体关注后进生。
