【教学内容】

本节课的教学内容为科普版小学英语五年级下册第二课。在学习了let’s learn部分后，学生已经掌握must和may的用法。本节课通过妈妈和儿子Jim过马路的情景，对学生进行“交通安全”教育。

【教学目标】

【教学重、难点】

1.“四会”单词的正确应用：must,street,light. 2.We mustn’t……/We must……/We can……句型的正确应用。

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming up 正式授课前师生互敬问候，教师角色转换，将学生带入情境。本环节师生的主要对话如下：

T：Good morning, everyone. S: Good morning, Miss Shang. T: I am a teacher,right? Yes!But now I am a police.I work in the street. Boys and girls,what can you see in the street? (Cars,people,dogs,traffic signs, traffic lights……) [设计意图] 通过师生间的问候，使学生进入英语学习状态，同时为学习新内容做铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation

教师用语言导入对话情境，由问题导入对话。

T: Boys and girls, today we’ll have lesson2 We mustn’t cross the street now. Let’s have a look,what’s in the street now?Yes!A traffic light.Look at the red light.What should we do?（将简笔画呈

现在黑板上）

针对对话提出主题问句，并要求学生听录音找出正确答案。

T: Listen to the tape and find the answer. Got the answer? OK. S: We mustn’t cross the street now.（将答案书写在黑板上）

T: Now the light is green.What should we do?listen to the tape again then tell me .（将简笔画呈现在黑板上）

S: We can cross the street. （将答案书写在黑板上）

T:Boys and girls.What’s in the street now?White lines. Look at these white lines.What should we do?Listen to the tape the third time then tell me. （将简笔画呈现在黑板上）

S: We must cross the street here. （将答案书写在黑板上）

[设计意图] 教师给出与教学文本相关的图画，针对文本设置问题。用简笔画和提问将学生带入文本情境。

Step 3 Practice 1. Listen to the dialogue. a. Listen to the dialogue and point at the sentences you hear. b. Listen to the dialogue and repeat sentence by sentence. c. Let’s read the dialogue together. d. Role plays. 2. Practice the dialogue.

Firstly, please practice the dialogue with your partners. Then, I’ll ask someone to show for us. Let’s begin. [设计意图] 通过练习环节，让学生巩固和操练文本内容，对基本句型的掌握更加扎实。

Step 4 Production 通过设置小交警环节，不仅能让学生丰富交通常识，还能让学生体验交警职业，让练习变得更加生动有趣。

We can go straight here......There are some more traffic signs in my hands.Please choose some to make a dialogue with your partners.Then, I’ll ask someone to show for us. Let’s begin. [设计意图] 呈现生活中常见的交通标志，鼓励学生用本课所学的知识进行描述，从而引导学生将课上学到的知识与已有知识融会贯通，以培养学生的语言表达能力和综合语言运用能力。

Step 5 Wrap up Let’s look at the two pictures of street.Which one do you like? Oh, all of you like this one. Why? Because the traffic is in order.But this one,what a mess! So, we must obey the traffic rules,right? Yes. I’m sure you are good boys and girls. [设计意图]

Step 6 Homework 教师要求学生课下收集更多的交通标志，小组交流分享。
