Step1 Warm up 1. Greetings 2. Sing an English song 3. Revision : Introduce yourself each other . Step 2 Presentation 1. Teaching the words : “big”and “clever” （1）Watch the wonderful cartoon . （2）Compare with “big”and “small”and play a game . （3）Guessing game : Who is clever ? 2. Teaching the sentences “Can you read this ? Sure”/ Wait a moment. （1）Play a Whac - A - mole and learn the sentences “Can you read this ? and answer “Sure/ Yes , I can .”

（2）Explain the phrases “wait a minute”/ “wait a moment”. 3. Teaching the story （1）Listen the story twice and answer the questions . a. Who is big ? b. Who is clever ? c. Who is the teacher , Zip or Zoom ? （2）Listen to the story and repeat the story like Zip and Zoom . Step 3 Consolidation 1. role play the story . 2. Make up a story and act out the story with your partners .

Step 4 Summary & Homework 1. T: From this story we know “If you want to solve the problems , you need to make lots of mind .”

2. Sing a song : If you are happy . 3. Homework : Tell the story to your parents and act it out with your friends .
