教材分析：

本节课主要学习中国宇航员去太空的时间和在太空停留的时间、以及在太空发生的事情，来学习巩固过去时。通过本节课，增加同学们对太空知识的了解，对太空的热。

三、教学设计：

本节课是阅读教，按照英语新课程标准的要求，这堂课应当是“以任务贯穿读、听、说的活动，让学生通过‘感知－概括－应用’的思维来增长知识，发展能力”。学生通过阅读，能掌握课文的大致内容，在阅读的过程中，能根据老师设计的任务进行阅，并解决老师提出问题，自己遇到问题能大胆向老师提出；在知识输出过程中，能独立解决问题，真正提高阅读能力。

四、教学目标：

a. 知识目标：

1.Be able to know some information about the space. 2.Be able to read the story and know some information about the space. 3.Be able to know who the spacemen are after fast-reading.. 4.Be able to know when the spaceman went into the space and “How long they stayed in space?” after careful-reading.

b.能力目标：Be able to retell the story and talk about some other knowledge about the space. c.情感目标：Know about something about the Chinese aviation and love China. 五、教学重点：
