1. 呈现语音部分单词,让学生说出ou的发音。
2. 播放Song activity部分歌谣,进行课堂热身。
3. 师生Free talk, 讨论学彼此的心情:
How are you today? Are you happy/excited/sad/…?
Will you be excited if you can see a panda? Presentation 1. 告知学生:书上的几位同学上周看到了大熊猫,引出本文内容。
2. 学生自读课文第一段,回答问题:
Were they excited? Where did they see pandas? Why did the scientists work there? 3. 学生自读课文第二段,填空:
For many years, pandas _______ dying out. In 1987, scientists ______ the Panda Base with six pandas. In 2011, they ______ 108 pandas!
以英英释义的方式帮助学生理解die out。
4. 学生读课文第三段,填空:
Sometimes two babies are ______ at the same time. They are ______. The
scientists are very ________, because it doesn’t happen often. The scientists work hard to __________ the mother and the twins. They hope to have more ______ pandas.
呈现图片,帮助学生理解at the same time, take care of, twin, giant的意思。
5. 播放本部分视频,学生观看视频,了解文章大意并跟读。
Practice 1. Read again. Answer the questions. 学生自主完成本部分习题,同桌相互检查。
2. Write T for true and F for false. 学生根据课文内容,判断对错;
师生一起核对答案,请学生把错误的地方改过来。
3. 学生在课本上圈出动词的过去式,并在上方写上动词原形。
