Lesson 12 A Visit to the Great Wall 一、教材分析

单元及课文分析

本单元内容围绕“Travel in Beijing”这一话题，分别涉及了Li Ming , Mrs. Li , Jenny and Danny 一起游览北京的天安门广场、故宫、长城以及王府井购物的相关信息。结合本课重点内容，通过创设场景使学生了解长城相关信息，并能够运用所学语言介绍长城。

4、教学目标



1. 知识与技能目标：

（1）学生能读懂故事

（2）学生能朗读故事，做到语音准确，语气达意，能注意模仿语音语调

（3）学生能借助实物教具等帮助，表演故事。



2. 学习策略目标：

（1）寻读、朗读、默读等阅读策略相结合，发展阅读策略；

（2）增强小组合作意识，共同完成任务；

（3）通过评价反思，发展自我调控策略。



3. 情感态度目标：

（1）提高学习英语的兴趣，乐于阅读，善于表演

（2）增强孩子们保护环境的意识。

二、教学步骤

StepⅠ

Hello, everyone! I am your guide. Welcome to Beijing! What do you know about Beijing? (引出主题The Great Wall)

(设计思路：通过对北京名胜古迹图片的回顾激活学生的原有知识，给学生营造了一个轻松愉悦的学习氛围，调动学生的旅游兴趣，激发学生参与课堂活动的热情。）

Reading (35minutes) 1、Pre-reading: Look！Here is the Great Wall！Can you describe the Great Wall？What does it look like？（old，long，beautiful，beacon tower，city wall）

设计思路：激活学生对长城的原有认知，为读故事做好铺垫，并复习与故事课相

关的词汇。

Oh，look！Who are they？（Li Ming，Danny and Jenny）

2、While reading: （1）Picture 1 Question: How do they go to the Great wall？(寻读回答问题。）

设计思路：了解学生对课文第一部分的理解和掌握情况，指导学生边读边思考，在理解的基础上组织语言，初步掌握寻读的阅读策略。

Now let’s listen what they are talking. Let the students watch the video of picture2&3 and answer the question: ①How do we call the Great Wall? ②How old is the oldest part of the Great Wall?

Talk about the meaning of the Ten-Thousands-Li Great Wall in the group.

设计思路：寻读。在学生阅读前给出针对性的问题，让学生目的明确的进行阅读。

设计思路：跟读模仿体会主人公心情，感情升华有助于理解故事并为故事表演做铺垫。

3、Post reading: ①Group work:

Choose some sentences and ask the students to imitate. They should pay attention to the tunes and emotion. 设计思路：经典语句跟读模仿训练，培养学生的语感，提升朗读能力，同时为后面的课文表演作铺垫。

设计思路：通过分角色朗读、角色扮演形式，分层检验学生对课文理解和掌握情况，看学生能否生动活泼地表现出各角色应有的感情和表情等，以此培养学生的阅读理解和表达能力。

Show a postcard of the Teacher. Ask the Ss to write a postcard of the Great Wall. 设计思路，范文展示后引导学生进行书面表达，以写明信片的形式概括长城信息巩固所学。
