The ugly duckling

学情分析：

四年级的学生大概处在十岁左右,这个阶段的儿童注意不稳定、不持久,难于长时间地注意同一件事物,容易为一些新奇刺激的事物所吸引。

所以他们对课件里的动画和能动发声的教具感兴趣。这个年龄段的孩子的有意识记逐渐占据主导地位,即使是抽象材料也能花功夫努力记住,并能自觉检查记忆的效果。随着知识的增长,理解能力的提高,中年级学生意义识记逐渐占据主导地位,也能够通过图片很快背诵第一部分的课文。2·1·c·n·j·y

设计理念：

本节课我们采取问题引导,通过回答问题,逐步呈现文章内容,降低语篇学习的难度。

教学目标：

1.能在语境中正确运用本单元的核心词汇。

2.能用恰当的句子和语调表达故事中的相关内容。

3.通过故事阅读,明白故事寓意。

Pre-task preparations 出示一张印有鸭子及小鸭子的图片,借助图片通过询问引出单词:

duck , duckling,

ugly duckling. T: What animals are they? Ss: They are ducks. T: They are small and lovely. They can walk and swim too.

They’re the babies of ducks. What are they? Ss: They are ducklings.

T: They are ducklings too, but they are not beautiful. What are they?

Ss: They are ugly ducklings.

播放故事的完整动画,让学生观看并说出故事的名字。然后依次出事故事第一部分图1---3的图片,回答问题。通过回答,帮助学生了解故事的主要任务和故事背景。

(Picture1) T: What can you see in the picture? S1: I can see a duck and three eggs. T: (point to the duck and the eggs.)

What color is the duck? What color are the eggs? S2: The duck is yellow. The eggs are white.

(Picture 2)

T:what can you see in the picture? S1: I can see three eggs. T: are they big or small? S2: They are small.

(picture3) T: How many eggs can you see in the nest? S2: I can see four eggs. T: (point to the three small eggs) What are they like? S3: they are small.

T:(point to the big egg) What about the other egg? What’s it like?

S4: It’s big.

出示图4—6 的挂图,让学生看图听录音,回答问题通过问题检测学生对这一部分内容的理解。

(picture4) T: where does Mother Duck sit? S1: She sits on the eggs.

(picture5) T: The eggs open. What can you see? S2: I can see the ducklings. T: How are the ducklings? S3: They are yellow and lovely.

(picture6) T: The big egg opens. What comes out of it? What’s it like?

S4: An ugly duckling. He’s big and grey. It’s ugly.

然后教师再出示图片,让学生回答问题,启发学生思考丑小鸭与其他三只小鸭子的不同之处,为后续学习作铺垫。

T: How many babies does Mother duck have? S1: Four.

T: (point to Picture5) Is Mother Duck happy? S2: Yes, she’s very happy.

T: (point to picture6) Is she happy? S3: No, she isn’t.

3.依次出示图7—9,要求学生看这些图片,然后回答老师的问题。

(picture7) T: where does Mother Duck swim? Where are the ducklings? S1: she swims in the river. Three ducklings are on her back. The ugly duckling is behind them。

(picture8) T: what do the three yellow ducklings do? How do they feel? S2: They play together. They are happy. T: Is the ugly duckling happy too?

S3:No, she isn’t.

(picture 9) T: How does the ugly duckling feel? S4: He’s sad. T: what does he do? S5: He swims away.

出示图10的挂图并播放多媒体,让学生看图听录音,回答问题,通过提问检测学生对这一部分内容的理解。

T: Is it spring? S1: No, It’s winter.

T: yes, it’s very cold. Does the old woman like the ugly duckling?

S2: No, she doesn’t. T: she drives away the ugly duckling away. 鼓励学生想象丑小鸭接下来会有什么遭遇。

T: The ugly duckling has no home. What will happen?

出示故事11和12的图片,让学生看图回答问题. T:(point to picture 11) How many swans can you see? S1: Two. T: What colors are the swans? S2: They are white. T: Where are the swans? S3: They are in the river.

T: (point to picture 12) How many swans can you see?

S4: Three. T: What do the two swans say to the ugly duckling? S5: You are a beautiful swan.

T: Is the ugly duckling ugly now? S6: No, he’s a beautiful swan now.

T: Is the ugly duckling happy or sad? S7: He’s happy.

Post－task

activities

1.帮助学生复习本单元的故事内容。整理课文中的图片,打顺序打乱,然后复述故事,让学生按故事情节将图片重新排列。

2.让学生进行角色扮演,朗读故事,饭后让学生戴上头饰进行小组表演,对整个故事进行再次进行复习和巩固。
