Teaching aims:1、Help the students learn the new words about the subjects . 2、Use the setences“What subjects do you like ? I like ..”

to help the students practice the new words . 3.Get into the habit of listening careflly and positive thinking .Through group cooperation ,to cultivate students’ability of cooperative learning . Teaching important：1.The new words：Chinese,English,Maths,Art ,Music Science ,PE ,subject . 2、The sentences：What subject do you like ? I like .... Teaching difficult

：1.Be able to listen ,say ,read and write the new words . 2.Be able to use the setences in the life . Teaching aids : slides and form Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warm up 1.Greeting . 2.TPR .Say and do . Touch your eyes ,Touch your ears .Touch your mouth . Touch your head, (设计意图;营造活泼的课堂气氛，充分调动了学生的各个器官，调动了学生学习英语的积极性。） Step 2 presentation .

1.Free talk . T:Now ,we are going to have a new lesson .If you do a good job ,I’ll give you a sticker .Please Listen carefully with your ears ,Look carefully with your eyes ,Speak loudly with your mouth ,and think actively with your head .Ok? 2.(Show a timetable ) T:What’s this ? Ss: It’s a timetable . T:What’s on the timetable ?There are some subjects .(write subjects on the board ).There are some subjects we study at school .What does it mean ? (设计意图：用学生熟悉的课程表引入本课的话题，激发学生学习兴趣，很自然引入新授单词，为后面学习做准备。）

3.T:Lok at Alice ,Peter and Joe .What are they talking about ?They’re talking about the timetable .What’s the first lesson ?It’s Chinese .(Spell the words and write the words on the board ) What can you find ?

Ss:The first letter is big letter . （设计意图：让学生通过观察单词的板书，自己找出规律，培养学生积极思考的习惯和自主主探究的能力。）

4.Summary T: Can you complete the sentence? What lessons do we have in the morning? (设计意图：将之前学过的内容做一个小结与回顾。）

Step 3 Practice. 1 .Pair work . a.listen and number . b. Say the numbers and the new words . (设计意图：听音标号锻炼了学生的听力，可以加深学生对所学单词的发音的印象。两人小组活动让每个同学都有开口说单词的机会，培养他们的合作精神。）

2.Play a game .What’s missing ? (再次复现单词，让学生在游戏中巩固单词，感受学习的乐趣。）

3.Listen and tick . （设计意图：让学生听一听，然后完成表格。通过听对话让学生在情境感知所学句型，并且提高听的能力。）

4.Think and say. T：Alice, Peter and Joe have favourite subjects. What about you? What subjects do you like? S: Answer the question with the key patterns. 5.Chain drill. T: Now let’s have a chain drill. Ask your classmates what subjects they like. (设计意图：帮助学生巩固问句的回答，为每个学生提供开口说的机会。这里是一个链条式的练习方法，A问B答，然后B问C答，再让C问D答，最后D问A答。帮助每个学生都有提问和回答的机会，

同时也能听到其他组员的回答。

6,Group work .Do a survey . T: Let’s do a survey of your group.Find out what subjects your groupmates like. (设计意图：学生在小组内调查本组成员喜欢的科目，然后完成表格。调动了学生的学习积极性，发挥学生主体性和能动性，积极参与到课堂中来，让教学更有效。）

Step 4 Consolidation .Think and write. (通过写作填空练习，让学生巩固了新授句型和单词。把单一的词和句拓展为一篇小短文，也锻炼了学生的写作能力。）

Homework : 1.Read and copy the words in “Look and learn” on page 19. 2.Write your timetable in English. 3.Complete Workbook 4B pages 20 and 23 .
