Teaching aims: 1.

To finish “Start to read and “Let’s check”. 2.

To enable the students to review words like “grandmother、“grandfather”、“mother”、“father”. 3.

To enable the students to sing “I love my family”. 4.

To help the student to understand the story of “Story time”and try to act. Teaching focus: 1.

The students can finish the practice of “read and match” of start to read.

Listening practice Difficulties points: 1.

The students try to introduce his/her family to the class. 2.

To understand the “story time” and try to act. Teaching methods: Communicative approach,situational approach and direct teaching method.

Teaching procedures: Step 1:Warming up

Activity 1: Look and read---Look at the pictures and ask the students who they are.(开火车认读）

Activity 2:Let’s chant---to review and sing the chant we learned last class.（全班活动）

Design aims:the first activity to review and check how they learned last class ;the second to arouse the students’ interests. Step 2: Presentation 1.

Show PPT of page19---the picture of father,mother,grandfather and grandmother,invite the student to speak these words one by one and then read together.(点同学和齐读方式）

To use the sentence pattern”This is ...”to introduce their family. (直接教学法教，点学生尝试介绍家庭成员）

Finish practice in page 19 and 20---match,listen and tick training. (全班活动）

Design aims:By watching the picture of PPT to help the students to remember these words:mother,father,grandmother grandfather ,sister and brother.Second,the students can be involved in the class fully.(设计目的：一、展示图片温故方便后面的练习；二、不同活动方式既能重复记忆又使每个同学能充分参与课堂活动）。

Story time---By reading the story and watching the animation to think these questions: A.

Who are they? B.

Is Zoom’s mother an actress?

Design aims: On the one hand,let’s sing to check the students’ pronunciation and reading

problem.On the other hand watching the animation can impress the students and learn well. 设计目的：一方面，全班唱歌活动可以加强气氛同时能检测学生语音语调问题；另一方面根据问题读故事可以训练阅读能力，看动画加强学生记忆加强学习兴趣。

Step 4:Consolidation

Finish the practice in PPT.

Design aims: To consolidate the words leaned today.(设计目的：巩固今日所学,再次加深印象）

Step 5 :Summing up

To review these words: mother.father.grandmother and grandfather.

Read the sentence pattern:This is... Step 6: Homework 1.

Finish the the corresponding training.(完成长江练习册对应练习）

Teaching Reflection: The students are very active and actively raise their hands.But too active to control the whole class.At the same time,level design of practice should be pay attention for students who have difficulty in studying. 教学反思：课堂活跃，学生举手积极，但是有时会造成课堂纪律失控，这方面课堂把控能力还需增强。同时，作业练习上应该要考虑分层设计，方便学困生的学习。
