课程标准解读

我根据《高中英语教学大纲》的要求，在课堂教学中采用任务型教学方式，以学生为主体，为中心进行教学，教师在教学中起主导作用。教学环节每一部分都设有一定的任务，引导学生自主或者合作完成。整个教学活动以教材为载体，以学生为中心。学生参与活动贯穿始终。学生既有个人活动，又有小组活动和班级活动。同时在完成任务、展示成果的过程中，学生能充分体验合作、分享精神，提高学生分析和解决问题的能力，交流与合作的能力。

教材诠析 本课为外研版必修一第4模块A Social Survey——My Neighborhood中的阅读课文。文章是一篇对话，以简洁的文字向人们展示了厦门市的地理位置、气候以及城市概况。如旅游景点、建筑、商业区等。厦门是一个美丽的城市，它工业发达，商业兴隆。这里的名胜古迹和自然风景令人向往。这里的摩登建筑令人眼花缭乱。这里的气候宜人，的确是一个可爱的城市，一个生活和旅游的好去处。通过阅读，使学生可以掌握厦门的概况，并且了解介绍一个城市的必要要素。本节课的学习内容包括：看地图讨论并描述厦门市；结合学生生活实际，创设导游角色来描述自己的家乡。通过创设多种情景活动使学生积极参与课堂活动，主动踊跃发言，进行激烈的讨论，并且惟妙惟肖的演讲。

学情分析

在初中英语学习的基础上，高一学生还没有掌握略读、跳读等阅读技巧以及识别关键词、确定主题句、预测等阅读微技能。部分学生的基础知识仍然较为薄弱，运用英语进行交际活动的能力较差；主动学习的动力不够，然而他们学习比较认真，好胜心强，渴望在班集体里得到他人的承认，很在乎别人对他们的评价；还有部分学生的基础较好，能主动配合老师，愿意开口讲。他们有着高中生独立、爱表现自我的特点。因此，只有设置使他们感兴趣的活动，因材施教，才能让他们投入到课堂活动中来。自己家乡的图片和地图的使用激起了学生的兴趣，大部分学生能说有所想；导游这一环节的设计更给足了学生表现自己的机会。

同时能激发学生的兴趣。采用同桌讨论、小组讨论的形式来攻克本节课的难点。
