课题:Lesson 9 When Is It? 一.
教材分析
本课是冀教版四年级下册第9课。在本课中主要学习有关节日的英文词汇,以及通过
When is _____?It is ____.这个句型学习如何询问节日时间。在教学中教师应该帮助学生运用所学的语言进行交流,达到能够灵活运用,让学生综合自己所学的知识正确描述出这些节日。

学生分析
四年级的学生已经掌握了一定的英语单词及词汇、用语。在此基础上,让学生理解本课中描述六个节日的英文表达法,及用语When is it? It is_______ .对话。学生对日期表达上可能会有一些困难,通过本课的学习力求达到学生可以积极地完成练习和回答问题。

教学目标
知识与技能目标:
1.
学生能识别、理解和运用以下句式结构:
When is it?
It is___.
2. 学生能够使用序数词正确说出6个主要节日的日期(新年,春节,劳动节,儿童节,
教师节和国庆节)。
情感态度目标:
在学习的过程中培养学生对英语的兴趣和学习英语的好奇心,并在学习的过程中训练学生的听力技巧,同时让学生在自己的日常生活中尽量模仿和使用英语。
学习策略目标:
让学生跟读录音,养成学生听录音和跟读句子的习惯;在学习过程教师要培养学生集中精力上课的习惯。
文化意识目标:
学生将了解一些中西方的节日。
学生能够认识到,在中国,许多受欢迎的节假日和加拿大的很相像,例如儿童节。

培养学生学习英语的兴趣,并且在学习的过程中可以激发学生不断思考问

本课的教学目标有两个,一是学生能够识别、理解和运用下列结构When is___? It is___.二是学生能够使用序数词正确说出6个主要节日的日期。
本着这两个教学目标,我将句型和词汇的学习结合起来,将词放进句型中学习。在讲授这六个节日的时候分别采用了图片、听音、猜等多种进行进行新知的学习,充分利用了学生的感官能力和学生的好奇心,极大的吸引了学生的学习兴趣。
在这六个节日中Children’s Day、Teachers’ Day和New Year’s Day三个节日相对学生来说比较简单,学生在日常生活中对这三个节日及英语的说法都有些熟悉,所以在教授这三个节日的时候我适当控制了时间,而将时间重点用在了National Day、International Workers’ Day和Spring Festival这三个节日上面。整堂课上下来,感觉这样的时间分配还是比较合理的,对学生会的知识快速讲过,对学生不会且掌握起来比较难的知识进行重点讲授。
当然,在后面的巩固环节我也采用了三种不同的方式进行练习。Listen and order这个环节,主要是考察的听力,看学生能够对所学的六个节日进行很好的分辨和掌握。Match 主要是看学生对六个节日日期的掌握情况是否准确。Discuss主要是考察学生对这些知识能够进行综合运用。这三个练习由低到高对学生进行了知识的检测,也初步达到了教学目标。
但也有一些不足之处,就是个别节日的教授要主要分音节去教授,这样学生好掌握,还有要注意Spring Festival is in January or February.中in这个介词的用法。
