Step1:Warm-up

1.Greetings. T: Good morning, class. Ss: Good morning, teacher. How are you? T: I’m fine, thanks. How are you?

Ss: I’m OK.

2.Watch a video about “what’s this ?”

3.Review According to the video, the teacher makes the students consolidate the letters.

Step 2: Presentation

1.According to the guessing game to present the new words one by one. The teacher tells the students the pronunciations and meanings of the new words by showing the pictures.

Sample：

T：What's this? Ss：It's a key. T：What's that? Ss：It's a map. …

2.Look at the pictures of the new words and say what the things they are.

3.The teacher uses the pictures to let students speak them out.

4.Do a exercise about “a” and “an”.

5.The game: Read aloud

Give the students one minute to remember the new words.

6.The game: Divide the students into two groups, then everyone has a letter. According to my order, some of them spell the given word or picture one by one, then speak it out loudly three times .

Step 3: Do pair work Work in pairs with your partner. You can make conversations. Your conversations can be like the example.

Listen and numbers the pictures.

Talk about the things in the picture.

课堂上，我设置了一系列任务型活动，引导学生通过自主学习与合作学习相结合的方式，掌握如何正确地拼读单词。课堂上，学生的学习兴趣较浓，都能积极参与到课堂活动中来，他们大胆发言，达到了预期的教学目标。
