一、教学目标

1. 知识与技能目标：

1) 巩固以下单词：orange, cup, ruler, pen, key, jacket, map, quilt, spell, please, it 2) 巩固以下句型：

2. 过程与方法目标：

1) 采用情境交际法和任务型教学法培养学生运用英语询问物体名称和拼读单词的能力。

2) 通过听力训练和口语练习提高学生的听力技能和口语能力。

3. 情感、态度与价值观目标：

通过相互询问物品，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，发挥学生学习英语的主动性；通过小组活动，培养学生的合作意识和团队精神。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

1) 运用句型“—

What's this / that in English? —

It's a / an …”对周围的事物进行问答练习。

2) 巩固a和an的用法：即辅音音素前用a，元音音素前用an。

3）运用“Spell it, please. —

大写字母-大写字母-大写字母.”这一句型拼写所学的有关事物的单词，并强化记忆这些单词。

2）掌握拼写单词的句型，并强化记忆这些单词。

三、学情分析

我教学的对象是七年级学生，他们对学习英语有很大的兴趣，而且有较强的记忆力和模仿能力，并有较强的求知欲和表现欲，因此在教学活动中应尽量让他们参与到活动中来，有更多的机会说英语，减少他们的恐惧感。通过学生间的合作学习，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。21世

六、教学过程

Step Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision 1. Play a game.(雨点变奏曲)

2. Revision.

（1）Put some real objects on the teacher's desk. (orange, ruler, pen, key, cup)

Ask Ss to answer the questions:

T: What's this in English?

Ss: It's an orange.

(Ask about more Ss about other things.)

（2）Show some pictures to the students. (jacket, map, quilt)

Point to a picture of jacket. Ask Ss: What's that in English?

Ss: It's a jacket.

(Ask about more Ss about other things.)

Step Ⅱ. Listening 1. Ask students to look at the pictures in3a and read the words about the pictures. 2. 3a. Listen to the recording and number the pictures. (Play the recording three times. For the first and the second time, listen and number the pictures. For the third time, check the answers with the whole class.）

3. 3b. Now let's listen to the recording again. And complete the words under the pictures in 3a. (Play the recording three times. For the first and the second time, Ss listen and write letters to complete the words. For the third time, check the answers with the whole class. ) Step Ⅲ. Pair work

1. Listen to the recording. For the first time only listen and for the second time, listen and repeat after the recording. (Ss listen to the recording and repeat after the recording.) 2. Practice the conversations with your partner. (Ss practice the conversations in pairs.)

Step Ⅳ. Listening 1. Tell Ss to look at the box in 3d. Then let some Ss read the words aloud. Make sure they know the meaning of every word.
