Step 1. Warm-up

1. Greetings: sing a song together: Where is the toy car? 2. Revision：Go over the sentences: Where is the ruler? It’s under the chair. Where is my boat? Is it in your toy box? No, it isn’t. T:

I have a cap. But I can’t find it. Where is my cap?

Ss: Is it on the desk?

T:

No, it isn’t. It’s under the desk. Step 2. Presentation 1）板书：the title “Unit 4 Where is the toy car? C Story time”

并教读. 2）教师拿出一个球和一个盒子，与学生一起玩问答游戏: T: Where is the ball? (教师将球放在盒子里) S：It’s in the box. T: Yes, you are right. T: Where is the ball? (教师将球放在盒下面) S：It’s under the box. T: Great.

3) 教师将球放在盒子后面，问学生：Where is the ball? 学生回答“在盒子后面”，教师说：Yes, it’s behind the box. 教师教读单词behind，可让学生按座位顺序轮流说单词。

4) T:

I will hide, please seek me.(老师躲到讲桌下面，让一学生上台找她，并回答：Where is Miss Yan?)

Where is Zip? 6) 学生听录音，划出不理解的单词和句子，如：table, behind, find。Where are you? I can’t find you. I’m behind you! 7）再次听录音并指读对话，模仿语音语调。

8）补全对话。
